Dr. Nancy’s journey to wellness led her through the very trials she sees in many of those she advises. As the first African American woman certified as an Air Traffic Control Specialist at the nation’s busiest airport in Atlanta she worked grueling hours. As the pace of work took its toll on her, she noticed the effects her coworkers demonstrated as well, from chronic illness to life-threatening diseases that eventually claimed lives, she knew the common denominator was stress and she refused to allow it to claim her life as well.

Organizer of The Veterans in Pain Project; A project to help veterans relieve their daily pain. Dr. Nancy organizes & facilitates private retreats and leads private hikes at Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area in Atlanta, GA. Recognized by the Atlanta Business League, Spelman College and the former Mayor of Atlanta Shirley Franklin as a role model community leader. Dr. Nancy received the Phoenix Award from Mayor Franklin and the City of Atlanta for being the first black female to certify at Atlanta Jackson International Airport as an Air Traffic Control Specialist.

Veterans In Pain Project
The “Veterans in Pain Project” is a project that was born Veterans Day in 2015 by Dr. Nancy of Dr. Nancy’s Body Soul Essentials.
Dr. Nancy, a Wholistic Doctor, was inspired by the Holy Spirit that revealed that “Veterans” are some of the “Dearest Souls” who volunteer to risk their lives for the lives of others, as Christ did on the cross for all of humanity. Veterans often go unrecognized for their contributions and duty to society and unfortunately, when most come home from “Duty of Service” they are very limited to the resources that are provided to them to reestablish them back into society.
Dr. Nancy understands while she may not be able to address all the needs of veterans, she can do her part; by helping to address the bodily pain that they struggle with everyday, all day and very rarely finding any relief. Each year Dr. Nancy donates 100-250 jars of her “Arthritis Pain Inflammation” ointment through her own resources.
